Tyler Perry + "Black films"

I finally saw Tyler Perry's movie, Why Did I Get Married. I liked the whole concept of the movie and seeing Malik Yoba (haven't seen him since NY Undercover) and Tasha Smith (missed her since Daddy's Little Girls). And one thing I especially love about the film is how he incorporates God and prayer into it. I read some reviews on the film and realized that people are so racist. I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when you start to say stop making stupid black films, there is a problem. As African Americans, we try to uplift ourselves from the racism we endured  to become something better and not bitter. And no matter what we do our culture and our ideas are not good enough. Just because his movie has an all black cast and focuses more on what we can relate to, people think his ideas are stupid. Its almost like Spike Lee's Jungle Fever. People were so angry when that movie came out but all he was doing was telling the truth and bringing people into reality. People need to start looking above and beyond the color lines...now that's just my opinion.
