Unfortunately, I missed the BET Awards yesterday but got a quick little recap this morning. And one event that took place that stuck out like a sore thumb was Chris Brown's tribute performance to Michael Jackson. It's been awhile since the world has actually seen Brown perform at an awards show and this one was emotional! During the Man in the Mirror segment, Brown couldn't help but break down and cry. He couldn't even sing much or any of the words to the song, for that matter. It was a true reflection of how much he is suffering now as an artist. Due to his domestic violence incident with Rihanna in 2009, his career plummeted and currently has not seen the light of day. Now, apart of me is saying should he not be given a second chance or should he actually take into account his career is basically over? You know everyone makes mistakes in this world and at times we are offered a second chance. Other times we are not. And a lot of these artists don't realize that when they do something wrong they don't just affect one person, they effect millions. I guess over time now we will see how his career will go.
