This song speaks for itself. And now the video makes it even clearer for those that don't listen to the words lol. When you’re dating someone sometimes things don't turn out the way that you want them to. In these situations it's hard to love and let go but when you do your opening the gate for someone else to come through. And at that moment you realize that guy that "supposedly" treated you sooo good, was the best thing you never had. Gotta love Bey!

Bey is at it again!

I've been so busy and haven’t had the opportunity to really sit and listen to Beyonce's new album "4". This 12 track CD hit stores on Tuesday June 28. I haven’t been following music as often as I do so when I heard she was coming out with a new album it kind of hit me out of nowhere. So far the two songs I had the opportunity to hear (Best Thing I Never Had and Run the World) are good. She always comes with a sense of creativity that not many artists bring to the table. Her songs always have a message that each and every one of us can relate to like albums "B'Day" and "I Am Sasha Fierce" were amazing. Hit after hit such as Irreplaceable, Get Me Bodied (which you hear at every sweet 16, wedding, etc), Ring the Alarm, If I Were a Boy, Halo, and Single Ladies to name a few. She is the epitome of a black women working hard in the music industry and I love it! So later on this week I will review the CD and tell you guys what I think.

Missy Elliot's: Behind the Music Special

Last night, I finally had the opportunity to watch her “Behind the Music” special and it was really good. I like how they told her story from start to finish. We also now have a clear understanding as to what happened to her these last couple of years. I remember I had This is Not a Test on repeat. Then she came out with The Cookbook and disappeared. I love her style because she emanates creativity. Till this day Get Your Freak On is my favorite video. When I first saw it I was like this is crazy! And since I'm all about creativity she got a stamp of approval in my book. I can't wait to hear what she comes out with next.

When I first started getting into makeup, I didn’t know where to start. There are so many different companies so at times it’s hard to tell who has the best products. So with that said in comes trial and error. Amongst my friends I’m known as the guinea pig so I love testing out new things!  Luckily, after attending various makeup shows and obtaining pro discounts I was able to do this without spending a lot of money.
